Saturday November 1 was another day of action. The morning started off at Blake Bracht’s (candidate for US House of Representatives in CD-5) food drive where the drop was at Prospector Park in Apache Junction. Blake was joined by his wife and daughter, while Scout and myself dropped off a donation. A big thank you to Blake for caring about the people of AJ and doing something about the tragic stopping of SNAP benefits. Note the photos of the line at the Superstition Food Bank, all along E Superstition and back up Idaho. The need is indeed real.

Peg, Scout and I finished off the day at the Indivisible Picnic in Red Mountain Park. We were joined by Brian and Lori Matlock and met lots of new friends and reconnected with old ones. More CD5 candidates showed up, Dr. Gary Johnson and Liz Lee were there. The food was good, the people were great.

Thank you to everyone for a good Saturday. These groups and individuals are working every day to save our democracy, fight the excesses of ICE and organize for the long haul we have ahead. Enjoy the images.
